Amsterdam, The Netherlands; 15 March 2016
AerData, the provider of lease management, records management and engine fleet planning software, are delighted to announce the integration between two AerData software products; a seamless, two-way ’Connector’ between GEARS and STREAM.
GEARS (Global Electronic Asset Review System), is a digital tool designed to standardize data collection for routine audits and inspections.
STREAM (Secure Technical Records for Electronic Asset Management) is the industry’s foremost web-based solution used by some of the world’s largest airlines, lessors and MROs to manage aircraft and engine records.
Commenting on the announcement, Justin de Looper, Manager Technical Services & GEARS Support Team, said, “Following customer feedback and a rigorous testing period, we are excited to bring to market the STREAM to GEARS connector. This will enable customers to realize the benefits of automated audit and inspection data transfer from GEARS to STREAM, contributing to a centralised archive in STREAM. In addition, it will allow convenient document linking from STREAM to GEARS so that inspectors can simply populate their audit reports with data that has already been collected and still valid. For customers using GEARS, this will improve the quality of data entry in their technical audits, reduce the time required for on-site presence and reduce the overall costs and risks normally associated with manual data entry.”
AerData provides lease management, records management, engine fleet planning and audit and inspection software as well as technical and back office services for aircraft and engine operators, lessors and MROs.
