AerData Acquires EFPAC Engine Fleet Planning and Costing

Amsterdam, The Netherlands;  9 December 2009

AerData, the Amsterdam/Netherlands-based provider of software and back office services for aircraft asset managers announced today that it has acquired EFPAC Ltd from TES Aviation Group. EFPAC, based in the United Kingdom, is a developer and supplier of asset management software for aircraft engines, which combines technical aspects of engine management with financial reporting on maintenance costs.

Commenting on the agreement, Paul van Tol, Managing Director of AerData said: “Through the acquisition of EFPAC, AerData will be in a position to offer designated engine management software next to its aircraft management software, thereby providing more flexibility to its client base. TES has been developing and using the engine management software for its own engine portfolio over a period of ten years. We will continue to develop the EFPAC system and integrate it seamlessly into our existing asset management systems. With the acquisition, AerData will also add a considerable number of new clients from the airline sector, engine leasing companies and maintenance organizations to its existing global customer base.”
